The 'perfect' English country-house estate, set in its own magnificent deer park, Belton was designed to impress. Built in the late 17th century for 'Young' Sir John Brownlow, its honey-coloured symmetry, opulent décor, fine furnishings, stunning silverware and gorgeous gardens provided the perfect setting for lavish hospitality and entertainment on a grand scale.
