Chisel & Mouse Regency Town House model. The Regency Town House is a fine example of the regency movement of the late 18th and early 19th century. The house, completed in the mid 1820's to a design by Charles Busby, is Grade I listed and has been painstakingly restored to its former glory by "The Brunswick Town Charitable Trust" and now acts as a living museum to the period and area. Kirkcaldy Town House is a Scandivinan influenced town house located in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. The current town house began in 1937 from a competition-winning design by David Carr and William Howard of Edinburgh. Only the foundations had been put in place, before this was interupted by the Second World War. The remainder of the work was completed after the war between 1953 and 1956. The town house was built as the headquarters of Kirkcaldy Town Council and then Kirkcaldy District Council between 1975 and 1996. Nowadays, the role of the town house is the headquarters of the central region of Fife Council. In 1988, the town house was made a B-listed building from Historic Scotland.
