We're getting ready for the 2008 Annual General Meeting of The Mediterranean Garden Society, which is being hosted by our own Northern California Branch (this is an international society) in Monterey, October 9-12, 2008. Our committee has the delightful task of visiting various gardens in order to choose which will be showcased for this event. We're looking for great design, including climate appropriateness and resource frugality. Fortunate for us, we have a team of wonderful designers from the Monterey area who know just where to look for such gardens.
This is a 4-day member-only event (you are welcome to join!) but there is also a 1-day symposium (Oct 11, 2008) that is open to the public (more information).
