Riordan Mansion State Historic Park features a Craftsman-style mansion built in 1904 with original furnishings. It is located on a six-acre wooded site west of NAU Northern Arizona University on Riordan in Flagstaff Arizona and Tours are given daily. "The historic building is an Arizona treasure - a remarkable example of Arts and Crafts style architecture featuring a rustic exterior of log-slab siding, volcanic stone arches, and hand-split wooden shingles. The expansive home has forty rooms, over 13,000 square-feet of living area, and servant's quarters. Antique Japanese Gate

Nestled in the scenic west hills of Washington Park, the Portland Japanese Garden was designed by Professor Takuma Tono in 1963. It encompasses 5 1/2 acres with five separate garden styles, and includes an authentic Japanese Tea House.
The Antique Gate pictured graces the lower shuttle stop, a gift from the Japanese Ancestral Society.
