1638 E. 1st. Lifetime home of magician Jerry Andrus (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Andrus) who called it the Castle of Chaos. With its unusual Moorish style "keyhole" windows, stucco'd brick walls and Eastlake/Stick design elements, it strongly resembles Design. No. 44 from G.F. Barber's Cottage Souvenir No. 2 pattern book. The house was built in 1893, and has undergone renovation since Andrus' death in 2007.
